Scar & Trauma therapy

Not all scars are only physical.

When the body goes through surgery, birth, or trauma, healing is often measured by how the skin closes. But beneath the surface, the nervous system may still be holding the memory of the event. Scar tissue can carry protective tension, subtle guarding that limits mobility, affects posture, or maintains background alertness. Working gently with scars is not only about improving tissue quality, it is about helping the body feel safe again.

When this can support you

• After abdominal or pelvic surgery

• After cesarean or gynaecological procedures (endometriosis surgery…)

• When scars feel tight, numb, or painful

• After medical or emotional events that left a strong imprint in the body

• When the nervous system holds tension or hypervigilance

My approach

Through gentle, precise hands-on work, sessions support tissue mobility and nervous system regulation. This approach is rooted in scar therapy, reflexology, and trauma-informed somatic practice.

I work directly with the tissues to help release adhesions, reduce protective tension, and restore fluidity in the body. By integrating meridian-based reflexology and nervous system awareness, the work supports both structural balance and emotional regulation.

Each session is personalised to your history and needs, creating space for the body to soften, reorganise, and regain a sense of safety and connection.

Sessions may be reimbursed depending on your complementary insurance.
